Announcement
Citrus United Soccer is excited to announce the appointment of Gary Barnett
and Bob Wilson as our club's technical directors. They will be working with our
recreational and competitive teams to help further their development as soccer
players. They will also help develop our academy program.

Greeting from Bob Wilson:
Hello!
Bob Wilson here… This season I am joining the CU program as
a Technical
Consultant. My goal is simple: To reach out to the players, coaches and parents
with helpful, current information. I have been involved with soccer since I was
a child and come to a point on the continuum where I want to concentrate on
player and coach development. Soccer is an enjoyable game on many levels.
Through learning and applying, our enjoyment will grow.
I have been involved in coaching since 1982. I joined the
Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) Staff circa 1989. For FYSA, I work both
on the Olympic Development (ODP) side and on the educational side as an
instructor. I hold a USSF B license, a National Youth License, and an NSCAA
National Diploma. Throughout my coaching experience, I have been privileged
enough to have coached the beginners as well as to work with those who have
received national honors for their accomplishments. This being said, I humbly
aim to be an approachable resource to the CU community and mission.
I live in the town of Edgewater, Florida. It is on the
east coast and just south of New Smyrna Beach. My wife Heather and my children
Brooke, Maddie, Aly, and Olivia are my life.
